YOUNG Investigator Award

Young Investigatro Award was introduced at the initiative of prof. Peter Kubisz in collaboration with Thieme, the publisher of Seminars in Thrombosis &Hemostasis. The publisher has created the Young Investigator Award in honor of Eberhard Mammen, and in recognition of his contribution to this field and to the journal that he both founded and steered for over three decades.

In 2015 three participants od the DLTH Sarajevo meeting, were awarded with the ′Eberhard F. Mammen Young Investigator Award′: Ljubica Jovanovic, Belgrade, Serbia for lecture entitled “Practical aspects of monitoring of antiplatelet therapy”, Lucia Stanciakova from Martin, Slovakia for lecture “Rotational thromboelastometry and monitoring of anticoagulation in pregnant women with increased risk of fetal loss” and Juraj Sokol from Martin, Slovakia for lecture “Genetics of sticky platelet syndrome and fetal loss”.

The second Young Investigator Award was handed over on May 20th, 2017 in Skopje to Anna Golub, Moscow, Russia for lecture entitled “Assessment of the influence of inherited thrombophilia combined with elevated body mass index on the risk of venous thrombosis”
